Yearly Update

Apparently I was so NOT joking about this being few and far between. Makes it dificult to keep up on a blog when you totally forget you started one. ?!?!?

It is now July 09 and life has been busy. Jan Trae moved back home. May Chris finished his freshman yr at UNL and moved home. I love having my kids live at home. I know I'm one of those crazy moms who actually looked forward to summer and hated the school yr.

Have been busy working on our house so we can sell it and move home to Texas. This has been a goal of mine for many yrs. Am now into the approx. 6 week countdown.

I'm loving my life as 1st councelor in young women at church. The girls and even boys are such great teens and have such love and respect for each other. It tends to take me back to my youth days and how wonderful it was to have such an extended family in the ward. I only hope that I am giving them even a portion of what I gained in those yrs.

I am working head photo specialist at walgreens now. I am so loving it. The people I work with are awesome. Up until a couple of weeks ago I had the most amazing boss. He is no longer with the company but I comfort myself now by the fact I was moving anyway and now getting a new boss wont be so hard on me.

Trae is working over nights at a gym part time and working construction full time. I believe his plan is to stay here when we move to Tx.

Chris' job turned south as far as hours so he has been struggling to find work. Hopefully with students leaving for college soon some things will open up. Chris is not returning to UNL. He is hopeing to be able to also stay instead of move.

This being my day off I do suppose I ought to work on my tasks of finishing the deep clean. I have already enlisted the young women to help me paint once I get it set.

I also get to go take Sr pictures for one of "my girls" today. Im planning to devote more time to getting back into my photography over the coming months, yrs . The private studio by age 43 didnt pan out but maybe I can make it by 53. :)

luv hugs and kisses

Wow, at some point I gave up checking on this! And now that I did check, I'm a few months behind when you did actually post! Haha, I'm glad to read a bit of what was going on for you during the summer. I hope all has gone well and you guys' plans are going how you hoped!
